In my personal work I explore concepts of color theory and optical illusion. I have recently grown to prefer working on black media because it is more stimulating for me to create. I like creating work that makes use of the black background and forces the viewer to create the rest of the image in their mind. I use a very wide range of non-local color in my work to create a vibrant pop of color.
